12-Twelve: Skydive

Skydive. I'm not really sure why that wasn't number 1. This may be the ultimate rush possible. Give me a shout if you can think of something better. Oh, and I have considered base jumping, but that pushes the envelope a bit too much for me.

The man is a god of modern music, both in style and lyrics. I almost saw Puscifer in NYC, but bad weather ended those plans.

10-Ten: Learn Technical Rope Rescue

Ain't that a trip! It's like being a bad-ass at saving lives! I did a little bit of search and rescue while in high school and loved every second I spent on a rope. Hopefully I'll get skilled enough at other wilderness stuff to be able to do this as part of a mountain rescue team.

9-Nine: Teach my Sister to Shoot

My sister (different sister than the rock-climbing one) wants to learn to shoot a handgun for self-defense so she has that skill when she moves out. She's never shot a gun before and I'd love to teach her.

8-Eight: (Completed November 2010) Rock Climb with my Sister

First of all, this is not my sister, but it gets the idea across. My sister's favorite thing to do is rock-climb, and I'd love to climb with her. I'm learning how to climb and belay just so next time I visit we can climb together.

So I finally got to rock climb with my sister. We both kinda sucked (her because she was just done recovering from a broken hand, me cause... yeah) but it was fun anyway. Oh! Going up a route with only one hand is way hard by the way.

7-Seven: Single-hand my Own Sailboat

The wind, the waves and you. There is something pure and exhilarating about sailing. If any motorboater tells you that sailing is boring, they've never hiked-out in a stiff breeze. 

6-Six: Learn Parkour (aka free-running)

5-Five: (Completed Nov 2010) Drive across the good ol' US of A (Completed Nov 2010)

What's more epic than living off of beaf jerky and Nos?

-Went from Delaware to Texas (People in Tennessee are way friendly)
-Lived with musicians for three days in Dallas (saw both Dallas punk bands in my short stay)
-Went from Texas to Arizona (featuring the most straight roads on the planet it seems)
-Got somewhat acquainted with a seriously OCD woman in Phoenix
-Went from Arizona to Washington (what a beautiful drive), and on the way...
-Drank with some hard working miners in Montana

It was a hell of a drive, made even more challenging by the fact that I did it alone. In conclusion, I found how much culture forms people, how many cultures are in the states, and how enormous this country really is. That drive blows me away; I have no regrets about it.

4-Four: (Completed Oct 11) Learn to Play an Accordion

Some call them great background instruments, some say the rock, most say they're annoying as hell. I disagree with the last statement.

Well I can't say I'm much good, but I own an accordion and I can play it, so there. Now all I need is a band that needs an accordion player.

3-Three:Go to War

It's probably naive, but I want to experience war. As a combatant, a journalist or an aid worker, I want to see it and understand it; firsthand.

2-Two: Crowd Surf

1-One: Attend Burning Man Festival

An insane art/culture festival heavily influenced by Dadaism. 50,000 people go into the middle of the Nevada desert for a week, do a bunch of crazy shit, burn a wooden man, and then tear everything down, leaving "no trace" as they say.
